Great Boots

I had been looking at these boots for a while. I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase them. I absolutely love them! While the description says they are black they appear to be more of a gray color which is fine by me. I have purchased boots in the past and wasn't able to wear them for extended periods of time because they began hurting my feet. I wore these all day long the day after I received them and I can honestly say my feet didn't bother me. They have that "broken-in" feel and a good insole which makes them more comfortable. I am thinking about purchasing them in the tan color also. Best boot I have owned.

Don't order your normal size.

I typically wear 11 or 11 1/2s. I offered these boots in 11s and I'm exchanging them for 10.5s. Too big. Obviously. Just a friendly warning. Excellent boots though. Very well made and amazing leather.

Uber-cool boots that are comfortable

First, be aware that each pair is uniquely distressed/colored and will appear more of a brownish-grey than black. Also, as other reviews have pointed out, order 1/2 size smaller. I'm usually a 9 1/2, so I ordered a 9 and there is plenty of room and go on easily. What's readily apparent is that these are made well- there's no stray threads, bad stitching, etc. Also, there is no break-in needed. They were comfortable the entire first day.
I'm very picky and have been trying to find this style boot, with a zipper, at good quality and price around $100 or lower. So far, I'm very happy in my choice of these.
