Slouchy ankles ahead!

I ordered the brown leather Lujan boot in a a size 6. Initially the boots were very difficult to put on because of how tight and narrow the boot got towards the bottom. I have very small calfs and a small foot and found this odd. However, after a few wears the boots loosened up. The boots are very soft leather and the color in the picture is accurate of what the boot looks like in person. I was hoping for a more sturdy boot that stayed straight up and didn't slouch however the more I wear them they become more and more slouchy and wrinkly at the ankle. That is why I rated it a 3 out 5. Hope this helps!

Well made boot...

These boots are very well made. The leather is nice and the sole is sturdy. However, here are my thoughts on this boot, which I wish I knew before I bought them, as I might (only might) have not purchased them had I known beforehand:
1.They are very tall. I am 5'7" and am proportionate in size. These boots come up to just under my kneecaps.
2. They are slim. But I have very skinny legs, so not a problem for me.
3. Since they are so slim, they wear out in the ankle area. It only happened on the right boot, I assume from driving (ie rotating my ankle between gas pedal and brake pedal) And because they wear out and are so slim and so tall, they slouch only around the ankle area.
I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, but got these in 8 and only took 2 days to break them in. No blister or problems, stretched perfectly and fit well. Again, only real concern is the slouchy right ankle.
Other than that, they are a great all around boot.

Gorgeous boots

These beautiful boots fit true to size. I did not have a difficult time pulling them on. They fit nicely around my calves and are nice and tall. They look so rich and classic, and they smell fantastic.
