Beautiful boots - great quality and fit around calves

I did a try-on with 4 pairs of riding boots (thank you free return shipping, Amazon!) and these were the winners. The others I tried were Bandolino Coplie, Bandolino Contessa, and Corso Como Rena. I wear size 10 and have 16" calves, which is borderline for most boots. Thanks to some elastic at the top, they fit like a glove with leggings. These boots are beautiful and fit well throughout. They do not bunch at the ankles like some boots. They are comfortable and appear high quality and well made. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great boot! Great Service

I always find that tall boots don't fit my calves - however because they are not huge wide shaft boots are always too big... It seems as if manufacturers make boots to the extremes. I bought a pair of Anne Klein boots with a high heel about 2 years ago and they fit perfectly so I thought I'd try another and these also fit great! Not baggy in the ankle, they are very stylish and good quality. Love, love, love them. They are about a 1/2 a size too big and I thought about sending them back but in the end I just didn't want to part with them and they're not to bad. I would recommend them to anyone.

love these boots

I have another pair of Anne Klein boots, and find that their sizing is pretty standard, so I took a gamble and ordered these. The color is very pretty and the leather looks very smooth and quality. I am 5'9, so these fit me perfectly, however on a shorter person they may come up too high/too close to the knee-they are definately taller than my other Anne Klein boots. They are very comfortable and have room to tuck in jeans or wear a sock. I got them with a 20% off coupon :) , but I think they are worth the regular price!

Slouchy ankles ahead!

I ordered the brown leather Lujan boot in a a size 6. Initially the boots were very difficult to put on because of how tight and narrow the boot got towards the bottom. I have very small calfs and a small foot and found this odd. However, after a few wears the boots loosened up. The boots are very soft leather and the color in the picture is accurate of what the boot looks like in person. I was hoping for a more sturdy boot that stayed straight up and didn't slouch however the more I wear them they become more and more slouchy and wrinkly at the ankle. That is why I rated it a 3 out 5. Hope this helps!

Well made boot...

These boots are very well made. The leather is nice and the sole is sturdy. However, here are my thoughts on this boot, which I wish I knew before I bought them, as I might (only might) have not purchased them had I known beforehand:

1.They are very tall. I am 5'7" and am proportionate in size. These boots come up to just under my kneecaps.
2. They are slim. But I have very skinny legs, so not a problem for me.
3. Since they are so slim, they wear out in the ankle area. It only happened on the right boot, I assume from driving (ie rotating my ankle between gas pedal and brake pedal) And because they wear out and are so slim and so tall, they slouch only around the ankle area.

I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, but got these in 8 and only took 2 days to break them in. No blister or problems, stretched perfectly and fit well. Again, only real concern is the slouchy right ankle.

Other than that, they are a great all around boot.

Gorgeous boots

These beautiful boots fit true to size. I did not have a difficult time pulling them on. They fit nicely around my calves and are nice and tall. They look so rich and classic, and they smell fantastic.

Waterproof, classic, and comfortable!

I bought these equestrian-styled boots in place of rubber or fabric boots for walking in snow, and they have been fantastic. The heel gives some style and traction, but is low enough to be very comfortable. The fleece/felt lining inside makes it warm enough for outside, but not so hot that you can't wear it inside. Since the leather is waterproof, it is less supple than average, but the leather itself seems high quality and I think it is a little stiff because it is waterproofed. Overall, it is a very comfortable boot, and it being waterproof makes it very useful!

I have thin calves, and can wear it with or without my jeans tucked in. The downside is that it will not fit someone with larger calves. The traction is average. Because the leather is on the stiff side, it wrinkles a little in the ankles, but it doesn't affect the overall style of the boot. I've gotten a lot of compliments, and my feet have stayed warm and dry.

A Great Fit for Chicken Legs & Overall a Great Boot

I have what many women suffer from called chicken legs. I have very demure calves (putting it mildly). I've read the reviews on Amazon and other websites but naturally I love Amazon (as they have the best pricing and are reliable) & ordered this boot from them last year November/December (2009).

I needed really nice warm boots I could take w/me on my trip to Europe over the Xmas holidays. These boots held up very well thru rain, snow and lots of walking. I receive many compliments to date on my boots.

I must mention tho what a previous reviewer said on the fact that while the boot says it's waterproof if you submerge your foot in a massive puddle, expect to get ur toes/feet wet. It's not THAT waterproof (as I found out last week upon accident). But other than that small detail I am still keeping my boots, love them and will definitely buy more from this brand.

This is a wonderful well made comfortable boot. It fits my wide feet and the fleece lining is warm yet it doesn't give me a rash unlike other cheaply made boots.
