I have looked high and low for the perfect pair of knee high boots and this pair is it! I purchased the brown pair in the store and I have lost count of the number of compliments I have received in the week and a half that I have owned them. They look just as terrific with skinny jeans and a sweater as they do with tights and a dress/skirt.
FYI: the brown is lighter in person than online, which is a plus for me. Also, I can wear a 6 or a 6 1/2, depending on brand and style. The 6 fits perfectly in these.

These are very nice boots--nice heel, not too high or low. I had read some reviews elsewhere that said the heel slips a little and that is the case with me. If you normally wear an 8 1/2 you might want to try an 8. They are a tad too big, but not enough for me to return. I may just try some thicker socks or an insert of some sort--maybe won't do anything. They fit my calves, which are about 14 1/2" just fine. Nice leather. I thought the fake zipper might bug me but it doesn't. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

These boots are everything I was looking for. They are smart looking and very comfortable. The heal is perfect...not low nor too high. The construction of the boots is well made. I am thinking for getting the black....
