For the past few years I have been looking for a replacement pair of brown boots, and never really liked any I found. The boots I found were either too stiff to even try to break in, or the height was awkward, and the most annoying part, to me, was the circumference around the calf was always huge on me. But on one of my random amazon boot checks, I came across these lovely nine west boots. I measured my calf and compared it to the listed circumference for these boots and it was just about perfect. The hardest part was deciding what color to get, but I ended up deciding on the suede brown ones. The boots arrived within a few days of placing the order and as soon as I opened the box I knew they were meant to be. They will go with everything, but to keep them lasting I will probably have to treat the leather so rain and puddles don't do any discoloring/harm. Now I am going to go back to find a black pair so I'll be set through the fall and winter!

These boots are adorable and very well made, but were way too tall for my 5'4" frame. They hit against my knees when I walked, which I hate. Might fit a taller person better! :)

These were huge in the calf and much too big in the shoe itself. I am between a 6.5 and a 7 - 7.5 depending on the shoe and the height of the heel but these boots I ended up giving to a girlfriend who wears an 8.5. There is something intrinsically wrong with that. So those interested in these boots, SIZE DOWN. I have been a fan of nine west for years and have wanted these specific boots for years, but this purchase was a huge let down.
